- An original is the unique physical work made by the artist.
- A limited edition is produced in a declared quantity and should state size, medium, number and signing practice.
- An open edition has no fixed production limit.
- A certificate can document a work, but it does not replace a clear invoice, provenance and direct verification.

- Confirm exact dimensions, support, medium and framing.
